Chairperson

 

Bruce “Tracker” Tilmouth is a graduate in Natural Resource Management from the University of Adelaide and former Director of the Central Land Council. Mr Tilmouth  is also on the executive of a Darwin based mining company and is a member of the CFMEU (Forestry Division).

Directors 

David Ross completed an Associate Diploma in Business Management at the South Australian Institute of Technology in 1987 before taking up the Deputy Director's position at Central Land Council and then becoming Director in 1989. In 1994 Mr Ross became a Commissioner of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission and 18 months later became the Chairman of the Indigenous Land Corporation based in Adelaide. The current Director of the Central Land Council, Mr Ross was appointed following a meeting of the CLC Executive in January 2000 and represents the Indigenous people of Central Australia.

Peter McBride is a New Zealand citizen and orchardist. Currently a director of Zespri Group (T/O $1Billion), Zespri International Ltd and Chairman of Zespri Innovation Ltd. Peter Mcbride is experienced in Agri-business, particularly dairy and large scale horticulture development property management and subdivision. Has developed and managed assets for a $20m charitable trust. Mr McBride has focused his career on agri-business in dairy, kiwifruit and apples and has a degree in agribusiness management from Lincoln University and is currently studying for a masters degree in this discipline.

Damien Frawley is CEO of Black Rock (a global funds manager currently managing combined assets of $3 trillion). He has extensive experience in international banking and business development. Mr Frawley has been in the financial services industry for 16 years. He worked in Sydney with Citibank from 1986-1988 as a Corporate Foreign Exchange dealer. He then worked for Barclays Global Investors, a subsidiary of the Barclays Banking Group, from 1988-1999 in marketing and sales roles in both Sydney and Brisbane. Mr Frawley joined Black Rock in March 1999 as the State Manager for Queensland.

Paul Ah Chee is the chair of the Arrernte Council and is an Arrernte Traditional Owner from Alice Springs. He has an extensive background in business through previously managing the Aboriginal Australia Art and Culture Centre, being a leader in cultural tourism and working as a business advisor. Paul is an accomplished muscian forming the band Amunda in 1989 and releasing a number of CDs.

Allan Cooney is the former General Manager of Centrefarm. He is a management and marketing specialist with over 30 years experience in agribusiness. Over the last five years Allan has actively led the development of Centrefarm Aboriginal Horticulture Ltd from a good idea and well articulated strategy  into a business that is a centre of excellence for the development of economic projects on Aboriginal lands.
