Pastoral Leases

A significant proportion of Northern Territory land is pastoral leasehold land.

For horticulture development this has several factors that affect its availability for development, the two main ones being the legislative responsibility for land use change which is controlled by NT government and that any horticultural development on these areas would be subject to negotiations with the Native Title holders.
